General Information On Acomplia

Acomplia is an anti-obesity drug, effective chiefly because of its ability to inhibit the activity of CB1 receptors. The Cannabinoid -1 or CB-1 receptors are present in the brain as well as some peripheral organs that are responsible for glucose and lipid metabolism, namely, the adipose tissue, gastrointestinal tract, and liver.
