General Information On Allegra D

Allegra D contains two active ingredients: fexofenadine hydrochloride and pseudoephedrine hydrochloride. An antihistamine, fexofenadine hydrochloride curbs the action of histamine, a chemical that causes inflammation and other allergy-type symptoms. In addition to these two, Allegra D also contains the following inactive ingredients: magnesium stearate, croscarmellose sodium, microcrystalline cellulose, carnauba wax, pregelatinized starch, silicon dioxide, polyethylene glycol, stearic acid, and hypromellose.
Allegra D is available in the form of oral tablets. You do not need a doctor’s prescription to buy Allegra D as it is an over-the-counter medication. The drug is most commonly available in Allegra D 60 mg strength.
