Detrol LA is often prescribed to those who have been diagnosed with symptoms of an overactive bladder. Containing the active ingredient Tolterodine, the medication works as an anti-muscarinic drug and a urinary antispasmodic drug that helps in the treatment of symptoms like urinary incontinence and frequent urination. Urine leakage and other symptoms can be controlled by Detrol LA. The action of this medication relaxes the muscles present in the bladder so that the patient has better control over his or her ability to urinate.
Side Effects for Detrol LA
Constipation, dry mouth, stomach pain, dry eyes, and abnormal vision are among the common side effects reported due to the use of Detrol LA. Difficulty during urination or cloudy urine, drowsiness, tiredness, headache, and a burning sensation while urinating are other common Detrol LA side effects.
