General Information On Emend
Emend is prescribed for prevention of acute and delayed nausea and vomiting induced by chemotherapy and for the prevention of postoperative nausea and vomiting. It may also be used to treat cyclic vomiting syndrome. It is an antiemetic chemical compound and works by blocking the neurokinin 1 receptor.

Emend (Aprepitant) may produce side effects like weakness, tiredness, dizziness, heartburn, loss of appetite, headache, itching, fever, stomach pain, constipation, hair loss and gas.
