General Information On Eucreas
Eucreas belongs to groups of medications called oral anti-diabetics. Eucreas is a combination medication containing both metformin and vildagliptin. You can buy Eucreas if you have been diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes and if the drug has been prescribed to you. Eucreas helps in controlling blood sugar by enabling the pancreas to secrete more insulin.
Side Effects for Eucreas
Eucreas may create a condition in the patient called lactic acidosis. The side effects of this condition are muscle pain, discomfort, and severe nausea. Other side effects include pain around the stomach, drowsiness, and rapid breathing. Inform your doctor if you experience any of the above side effects.
There are also rare cases of severe side effects when a patient is on Eucreas medication. Some of these include yellowing of the skin and eyes, nausea, loss of appetite, and dark colored urine. Allergic reactions to Eucreas are characterized by hives, swelling of the eyes, face, throat and tongue, and difficulty breathing or swallowing.
Common side effects of Eucreas may include nausea, vomiting, low blood glucose, headache, dizziness, or uncontrollable trembling. Other side effects could include joint pain, constipation, and swollen hands, feet or ankles. Inform your doctor if these side effects persist or worsen in intensity.
Precautions

Eucreas must be taken as per your doctor’s recommendations. The medication is available in the form of tablets. These must be swallowed whole with a glass of water. The recommended dosage for a patient is two tablets daily. One tablet is to be taken in the morning and the second dose is to be taken in the evening. Take your Eucreas dosage after or along with your meals to reduce the risk of stomach upset. Eucreas needs to be continued as a part of a diet prescribed by your doctor. Frequent blood and urine tests are conducted, along with a periodic diagnostic test of the kidney to check their functioning during the course of treatment. Liver tests would also be performed regularly to see if the organ is affected by Eucreas.
Interactions
