The most common side effects of Gemzar include – hair loss, swelling in the feet, ankles or hands, mild skin rashes, drowsiness, vomiting, stomach upset, constipation, mild diarrhea, and numbness.

Your doctor will recommend the correct Gemzar dosage for you after taking into account several factors such as – your height and weight, past medical records, the type of cancer you have, and other medications that you are using. Gemzar dosage is administered through injection (intravenously) with the help of an IV. To get maximum benefit from this drug, you must strictly adhere to the dosage recommended by your doctor. You must not take smaller or larger dosage of the drug or use the drug for longer period than recommended by your doctor.
