Lamictal XR or Lamotrigine belongs to the class of phenyltriazine drugs. It is an anticonvulsant and antiepileptic medicine used as monotherapy or adjunctive therapy for the control of partial seizures, convulsive seizures, and fits. The drug is also used to delay mood episodes in adults suffering from bipolar disorder. Side Effects for Lamictal XR
