Multaq is an antiarrhythmic medicine which affects the heartbeat rhythm. It helps in keeping the rhythm normal in people with life-threatening heart beat rhythm disorders of the atrium ( atrium is the upper chamber of the heart which allows blood to flow into the heart), diabetes, history of heart strokes, high blood pressure or older people of age group 70 years and above. Multaq is also used in the treatment of heart rhythm disorders like atrial fibrillation or atrial flutter. The dosage for this medication is 400mg.

Side Effects/Precautions For Multaq

You should not use Multaq (dronedarone) if you have any liver disease, serious heart problems, sick sinus syndrome, if your are pregnant or if you are breast feeding.
