General Information On Muse
Muse is a drug used for treating erectile dysfunction and diagnosing the causes of this disorder. This medication causes an erection by relaxing the muscles and blood vessels in the penis and increasing blood flow. Muse can also be used to improve blood flow in newborns with a genetic heart condition.
Side Effects for Muse
Muse has some mild side effects such as pain in the penis, headache, dizziness, and back pain. It can also give rise to pain in the urethra or testicles and warmth or numbness in the penis. Other minor side effects may also include cough, a runny nose, and other common cold symptoms. Consult your doctor if these side effects persist for a long time or if they become bothersome.
Serious side effects may also surface when you buy Muse and use it. These side effects include light-headedness, bleeding from the urethra, and fainting. Other side effects include bruising, swelling, or bleeding in the area where Muse was injected. Severe side effects also include a painful erection that lasts for 4 hours or more and severe irritation or pain in the urethra or penis. Tenderness, lumps, redness, or unusual curving of an erect penis may also be experienced. Stop using Muse at once and inform your doctor as soon as possible if you witness any of these serious side effects.
Allergic reactions may occur for a few people who use Muse. The symptoms of an allergic reaction include hives, difficulty breathing, and swelling of the lips, face, throat and tongue. Stop your medication immediately and seek emergency medical attention if you face any of these symptoms.
Precautions
You must not buy Muse if you have leukemia, sickle cell anemia, chronic urination problems, or a history of blood clots. You must also avoid this drug if you have a curved or deformed penis, penile fibrosis, or if you have been advised not to have sexual intercourse for medical reasons.
Before you buy Muse, inform your doctor if you have/have had a bleeding disorder, blood clotting disorder, heart disease, a penile implant, high blood pressure, or if you have any other disease which affects the blood. Examples of such diseases would include HIV and hepatitis.
If you have had or still have any of these conditions, tests may be required to determine if Muse would work. Muse must not be taken by women and men who are under 18 years of age. Use a condom to avoid the medication from spreading into your sexual partner’s body.
Muse Dosage
Muse is administered via an injection on the side of the penis. It may also be administered through the urethra by inserting a pellet form into the opening of the penis. Muse is available in Muse 125mcg, Muse 250mcg, Muse 500mcg and Muse 1000mcg strengths. The dosage is determined by a doctor, and the drug must be taken only when an erection is required.
Interactions
Inform your doctor beforehand if you are taking nitroglycerin, Hydralazine, Warfarin, Heparin, Danaparoid, Enoxaparin, or Dalteparin. Some medications may interact with Muse, so it is best to consult your doctor before stopping or starting any other medication.
