General Information On Naprelan
Naprelan belongs to group of Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, or NSAID. It has a generic name of Naproxen. You can buy Naprelan to treat inflammation and pain caused by tendonitis, spondylitis, bursitis, arthritis and menstrual cramps. This medication can also be taken for medical conditions like ankylosing spondylitis and gout. Naprelan works by lowering the level of hormones that are responsible for inflammation and pain.
Side Effects for Naprelan
Emergency help would be needed if you have an allergic reaction to Naprelan. The symptoms of an allergic reaction would include hives and swelling in the throat, lips, tongue and face. If you face these symptoms, immediately stop taking Naprelan and contact your doctor.
Some patients have reported serious side effects of Naprelan, such as chest pain, shortness of breath, weakness and vision problems. Patients may also experience problems in balance, slurred speech and black, tarry or bloody stools. Other symptoms include coughing up blood, not urinating or urinating very little, stomach pain, nausea, low fever, clay-colored stools, dark urine, loss of appetite, yellowing of eyes of skin, fever and sore throat. You might also experience headache and peeling, severe blistering and red skin rashes. Neck stiffness, hypersensitivity to light, purple spots and seizures are other serious side effects.
Mild side effects may occur when taking Naprelan. These mild side effects include bloating, dizziness, headache, nervousness, heartburn, stomach pain and constipation or diarrhea. Other side effects include blurred vision and skin rash or itching. Inform your doctor if these side effects persist or worsen.
Precautions
Naprelan is an NSAID, so it may increase the risk of patients suffering from heart and circulation problems. This includes the risk of stroke or heart attack. The longer you take NDAIDs, the greater the risk of suffering from such long-term dangerous conditions. Do not buy Naprelan before or after you have had a bypass surgery.
Treatment with Naprelan may also seriously affect the stomach and intestines of the patient. The effects may even include perforation or bleeding. In some cases, the effects may be fatal. These gastrointestinal conditions may occur at any time of the treatment without any warning. The risk of suffering from such affects increases with age.
Do not buy Naprelan if you are allergic to it or even if you are allergic to any other NSAID, or aspirin. Naprelan Dosage
The recommended dosage for patients to start with treatment is two Naprelan 500mg tablets per day. For better analgesic benefit, three Naprelan 500mg tablets may be taken for a limited time. On average, the dosage per day would not exceed more than 1000mg of Naprelan everyday.
Interactions
Antidepressants, blood thinners, diuretics, steroids, aspirin and ACE inhibitors may interact with Naprelan to cause easy bleeding or bruising. Inform your doctor about all the medications you have taken and are taking before you buy Naprelan.
