Nootropil is a medication that is used to treat movement disorders like myclonus of cortical origin. It treats sudden spasm of muscles that are caused by disorders resulting from a brain disease. Side Effects for Nootropil
Nootropil may cause some side effects in some people. Some of the common side effects include diarrhea, depression, mild insomnia, unexplained weight gain, skin rashes, and sleepiness or somnolence. Other side effects include nervousness and hyperkinesia. Inform your doctor or seek medical assistance if these side effects become severe or if they persist for a long period of time.

Precautions

Nootropil Dosage
Nootropil must be taken as per your doctor’s prescription. It must not be taken in smaller or larger amounts than what has been directed by your doctor. An oral medication, Nootropil is available as Nootropil 400mg. The recommended starting dosage of Nootropil is two 400mg tablets three times a day for period of at least 3 weeks. At the end of the initial stage—maximum of 8 weeks—the dosage is reduced to one tablet three times per day. For children, the recommended dosage is half of adult dosage.
Interactions
Certain other medications, when taken with Piracetam, may adversely affect its performance. Inform your doctor about all the medications you are using before you start using Nootropil.
