General Information On Omnaris
Omnaris is indicated for the treatment of symptoms such as a stuffy or runny nose, itching, sneezing, or nasal congestion. The generic name of the drug is ciclesonide, which is a corticosteroid. It works by preventing the release of chemicals in the body that cause inflammation. You can buy Omnaris in the form of a nasal spray, which needs to be sprayed directly into the nostrils.
Side Effects for Omnaris
Irritation in the nose, ear pain, headache or nose bleeds may occur, but if any of these worsen or persist, you need to contact your doctor promptly. Using a corticosteroid in the nose for long time may lead to a fungal infection in your throat or nose, which can be identified by pain in the nose, fever, a severe sore throat, pain while swallowing, and white patches at the back of the throat. Some serious but rare side effects of Omnaris include vision changes, weight loss, severe tiredness, severe nose pain, severe nosebleeds, or a whistling sound when you breathe. An allergic reaction to the drug may be identified by severe dizziness, rash, hives, itching or swelling on the face, throat, tongue, or lips, and trouble breathing. If you notice any of these symptoms, you should immediately stop using Omnaris and contact your doctor.
Precautions
Before you buy Omnaris, you should inform your doctor if you have tuberculosis, have undergone a recent nasal surgery, suffered from an ulcer or trauma, herpes in the eye, eye diseases like glaucoma, or decreased function of the adrenal gland. Avoid being near people who have been infected with measles or chickenpox. If you are going to have a surgery or dental procedure, you should inform your dentist or doctor that you have been using Omnaris, as the drug may make it difficult for you to respond to physical stress. If used in children for a long time, Omnaris can hamper their normal growth pattern and so, if you feel that your child is not growing as expected, you should bring this point to your doctor’s attention. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, you should use this drug only if clearly indicated, because its safety during these conditions has not yet been established.
Omnaris Dosage
You may be advised to take Omnaris 200mg once a day. You will have to spray the drug twice in each nostril. Using the spray, more often or for a longer period will not help your condition, but will only worsen the side effects. Omnaris needs to be used within 4 months of opening the bottle. It should not be stored in a refrigerator.
Interactions
You should not take Omnaris with drugs that affect the removal of the medicine from your system, such as CYP 3A4 inhibitors like ketoconazole and itraconazole. You should also inform your doctor if you are already taking aldesleukin. Apart from that, you should consult him/her about all the medicinal products you are using at present, including herbal products, health supplements, any eye, ear or nasal drops, or prescription or non-prescription drugs.
