General Information On Paxil CR
Paxil CR is used to treat depression, compulsive disorder, post traumatic stress and anxiety related disorders in adults. It is also prescribed for premenstrual dysphoric disorder. Belonging to a class of drugs called Serotonin reuptake inhibitor, the Paxil CR drug works to increase low levels of chemical Serotonin associated with these disorders. It is not prescribed for children.
