General Information on Prandin
Prandin is part of a holistic treatment program for diabetes type 2 patients. The generic name of this medicine is Repaglinide. This medication is meant only for oral administration. It may be taken with other medications and helps in lowering the blood sugar levels by improving the insulin production in the body. Prandin is not meant as a standalone cure for diabetes. It is only a part of a complete diabetes treatment plan, which is likely to also include an exercise and diet schedule.
Side Effects for Prandin
Seek emergency medical help and stop your medication if suffer an allergic reaction after using Prandin. The symptoms of an allergic reaction include hives, difficulty in breathing, and swelling in the throat, tongue, lips and face.
Serious side effects of taking Prandin include seizures, pale or yellowish skin, dark colored urine, confusion, weakness and fever. Other side effects include nausea, severe pain in the upper abdomen that spreads to your back, fast heart rate, sore throat, severe headache, and rashes on the skin. Contact your doctor immediately if you suffer from any of these severe side effects.
Mild side effects include running nose, cough, sneezing, flu-like symptoms, diarrhea, back pain, nausea, headache, dizziness and blurred vision, temporary hair loss, and joint pain. Inform your doctor if these minor side effects worsen or continue for a long time.
Precautions

Prandin Dosage
