Prempro - Called Premplus in Canada This item requires a prescription from your doctor

Manufacturer: Wyeth Ayerst Pharmaceuticals

Prempro is called Premplus in Canada. Premplus is taken as two pills everyday. In the US, both ingredients are combined into one pill so that you would only take one pill daily. However, in Canada, the two ingredients are made into separate pills. This medicine is an estrogen and progesterone combination used to treat the symptoms of menopause. It may also be used to treat certain menstrual disorders, osteoporosis, or other conditions as determined by your doctor. Alternative medicines to prevent bone loss (osteoporosis) include raloxifene and bisphosphonate drugs such as alendronate.
