General Information On Ranexa
Ranexa is used to treat chronic angina in adults. It is an anti-anginal medication. Ranexa helps the heart work more efficiently by improving the blood flow. The Ranexa drug may be used in combination with beta-blockers, anti-platelet therapy, calcium channel blockers and ACE inhibitors. Ranexa helps in reducing the number of angina attacks. However, it cannot stop an angina attack after its onset. This drug contains Ranolazine and it comes in Ranexa 500 mg and 1000 mg potency. Ranexa is not meant to be used during an attack of angina.
