Serevent Diskus helps to prevent spasm of the bronchus. The drug can be used to prevent exercise induced bronchospasm. It is the only medication that treats bronchospasm which results due to a chronic obstructive disease of the pulmonary system and also if you suffer from bronchospasm resulting from a reversible obstructive disease. Prevention as well as treatment of the bronchospasm is possible with this drug.
Side Effects/Precautions for Serevent Diskus
Serevent Diskus or Salmeterol should not be used if you are suffering from acute asthma. If you suffer from hypersensitivity to the Serevent Diskus drug, then the treatment should be discontinued immediately.
