General Information on Tekturna
Tekturna is a drug used for treating high blood pressure in patients with hypertension. Its generic name is Aliskiren and it belongs to the category of anti-hypertension medications. You can buy Tekturna in the form of oral tablets. The drug works by reducing substances in the patient’s body that are responsible for narrowing blood vessels and raising blood pressure. Your doctor will prescribe some angiotensin receptor inhibitors and diuretics along with Tekturna in order to maximize its effects.
Side Effects for Tekturna
Some of the most common side effects associated with Tekturna include stomach pain, diarrhea, skin rash or itching, heartburn, back pain, headache, tiredness, dizziness, stuffy nose, cough, sore throat, joint pain, back pain, swelling in the joints, and diarrhea. Most of these subside over time as your body gets used to the drug. Some of the serious but rare side effects of Tekturna include swelling around the eyes, nausea with weak pulse and slow heart rate, fainting, and lightheadedness. If you experience any of these after taking Tekturna, you should immediately stop using it and seek medical help. Precautions
Your doctor will not recommend you to buy Tekturna if you have a heart or kidney disease or if you have been on dialysis. You should also tell your doctor if you are taking a low-salt diet or if you have an allergy to ACE inhibitors such as benazepril, lisinopril, enalapril, quinapril or ramipril.
