This medicine is used as a short-term treatment for moderate to severe cases of Melasma. Melasma is a condition related to the darkening of the face. This treatment is used in conjunction with other measures such as sunscreens. The Tri Luma drug may be used for other purposes too. It is not known how this medicine works to treat melasma. Dosages For Tri Luma
Tri Luma is prescribed to be used as a short-term intermittent treatment. The medicine should ideally be applied a minimum of 30 minutes before bedtime. It should be applied to clean and dry the skin. The cream should be applied in a thin layer, covering the affected area and about ½ inch of surrounding normal skin. You should use a sunscreen while undergoing this treatment. The tube should be kept tightly closed. It should be stored at a temperature between 20 degrees and 25 degrees Celsius. However, under no circumstances, Tri Luma should be frozen. The medicine generally shows its impact within 4 weeks of use.
