General Information On Zemuron

Zemuron is a medication that is used for keeping the body of the patient still during a surgery. It is also administered for relaxing the patient’s throat for facilitating the easy insertion and removal of a breathing tube for a surgery. The generic name for this medication is rocuronium, and it belongs to the group of medications known as neuromuscular blocking agents. You can buy Zemuron as an isotonic solution, which is administered as an intravenous injection. Zemuron relaxes the muscles in the patient’s body by blocking the signals that are sent from the nerves to the muscles. Zemuron may also be used for other medical purposes as per the specific instructions of the doctor.

Side Effects for Zemuron

You must inform the doctor and seek immediate medical assistance if you suffer from an allergic reaction to Zemuron. The symptoms of an allergic reaction include difficulty breathing, swollen lips, throat, tongue or face, and hives.

If you suffer from any serious side effects after being administered Zemuron, such as uneven or rapid heartbeat, shortness of breath, labored breathing, unusual muscle weakness, and an inability to move the muscles, seek emergency medical help.
