Shipping Update – January 2022

Shipping times are now closer to normal. However, due to the latest outbreak of the highly contagious Omicron strain, we are anticipating some potential delays in our shipping times. We will provide updates as the situation changes.

Our normal shipping time averages 1 - 2 weeks. Shipments may now sometimes take an additional 2 – 4 weeks to arrive, depending on the source country of your order. Shipments from the United Kingdom and Canada are generally quicker than from other countries.

Please note that these times are averages and individual shipping times will vary. We highly recommend that you place your order at least 2 – 4 weeks or more ahead of your normal reorder time to avoid running out of your medication.

We offer a shipping guarantee when you place an order with us. If your order does not arrive within 6 weeks from the date it was shipped, we will re-ship your order to you at no additional cost.

Call Center – New Hours effective January 17, 2022

Our new call center hours of operation are now 7:00 am – 7:00 pm Central Time, seven days per week.

These changes are due to staffing issues we are experiencing caused by the highly contagious Omicron variant. We anticipate that we will expand our call center hours again within the next 2 – 3 weeks.

If you are experiencing increased hold times or are calling outside of these hours, please leave us a message or send us an email and we will get back to you as soon as we can. Due to increased demand on telephone networks worldwide, you may experience some intermittent connection problems. If this happens our agents will call you back.

The medication is available in the form of a tablet. Albenza works to stop the glucose intake of worm species. The worms die because they are not able to get enough energy for survival. You can buy Albenza if you or your child is suffering from parasitic infections. However, a consultation with your doctor is necessary before using the drug to decrease the risk of side effects and to ensure it is the proper treatment for you.

Albenza may cause less serious side effects such as nausea, stomach pain, vomiting, temporary hair loss, dizziness and headache. The drug may also cause serious side effects such as unusual weakness, sore throat, body aches, severe blistering, fever, or a red skin rash. Immediately notify your doctor if you experience any severe side effects after taking the medication. It is not necessary that every patient taking the drug will experience side effects. Many patients taking Albenza do not complain about any side effects. You should understand that your doctor has prescribed this drug because he/she is of the opinion that the benefits provided by the drug are far greater than its risk of side effects.

You should not take Albenza if you are allergic to any ingredient in it or to similar medicines such as Vermin. The drug may not be right medication for you if you suffer/have suffered from specific medical conditions. Your doctor may have to adjust the dosage or perform special tests to determine if the drug is safe for you. Albenza may cause harm to an unborn baby, so pregnant women should not take this drug. Women should use birth control methods during treatment and continue using them for one month after the treatment ends. Nursing mothers should talk to their doctor before taking Albenza. The drug may also decrease you body’s capacity to fight infections. Therefore, you should not miss any scheduled visit with your doctor. You should buy Albenza only if your doctor has prescribed it for your treatment.

Albenza Dosage

Albenza comes in Albenza 200mg tablets. The dosage of Albenza depends on the weight of the patient, medical condition, and response to treatment. A patient suffering from hydatid disease caused by dog tapeworm may need to take 400mg of Albendazole twice a day with meals. The treatment is given in three cycles. The patient is given a recommended dose for 28 days. This is followed by a 14 day drug-free interval. Patients suffering from neurocysticercosis (caused by pork tapeworm) are required to take a 400mg dose of Albenza twice a day with meals for 30 days. Your doctor will give you specific instructions regarding the dosage. You should not stop taking Albenza during these days as it may cause the infection to return.

Albenza can interact with other drugs and cause side effects. The drug may interact with Dexamethasone, Cimetidine, Praziquantel, Theophylline, and several other medicines. You should inform your doctor about every drug you are taking, which includes prescription, non-prescription, and herbal drugs or supplements.
