General Information On Emcyt

Emcyt is used for the palliative treatment of progressive or metastatic prostate cancer. Estramustine is an anti-neoplastic agent that works by controlling the abnormal propagation of the cancer cells, thus interfering with their growth and spread. You should not take Emcyt capsules with milk or milk products, as they may interact with each other. You will be advised to take the capsules on an empty stomach with a glass full of water. Avoid lying down for at least 30 minutes after taking the medicine.

Interactions

You should not buy Emcyt if you take aromatase inhibitors, corticosteroids, azole antifungals, antibiotics, HIV protease inhibitors, rifamycins, seizure medications, and St. John’s Wort.
