General Information on Sporanox

Sporanox is an antifungal medication used for curing a variety of fungal infections affecting the mouth, throat, lungs, fingernails, and toenails. It is also used to prevent and treat fungal infections in patients infected with HIV. Sporanox contains itraconazole and is a type of triazole antifungal agent. It is available for oral administration in the form of capsules as well as syrup and can also be given intravenously.
