General Information On Tnkase

Tnkase is used to prevent death due to an acute myocardial infarction (commonly referred to as a heart attack). The generic name of this drug is Tenecteplase and it belongs to a group of drugs known as TPAs or Tissue Plasminogen Activators. This medicine works by increasing the production of plasmin, an enzyme that helps break up blood clots.

This drug may cause certain serious side effects. Contact your doctor if you notice any of the following: blood in your stools or urine, irregular heartbeat, fainting, nosebleed, coughing up of blood, or bleeding around the injection site.
